TMI Tuesday?

So apparently this is a thing where your followers ask you these things but I don’t get asks because I’m socially awkward and therefore because I am bored and want something to do, I am going to answer all these anyway. Read if you want. Don’t if you…don’t. Obviously.

yeahwriters:

John Green, I like you. BUT
Books of yours I’ve read this week: 2
Characters who have died: 2
Times that that’s sucked: 2
Times I have cried: 2
When I was asking which book of his to read, someone wrote something like “Looking for Alaska is about life, but The Fault in Our Stars will make you cry”. And I thought I’d read it right, but then when I read LfA, I was like, “Wait, this is the one that’s supposed to make me cry, I had them mixed up in my head” And I was just at the gym reading TFiOS and at the really REALLY sad part (I won’t spoil it) I started crying on the bicep machine.
I would love to write books like John Green (I actually really do aspire to write realistic fiction about modern-day young people without skipping over the real parts, ie SEX DRUGS ROCK N ROLL), and have a career like his, but dang son, why you make all your book ‘bout dead kidz? :(
